Hosted by the Art Society of Jackson County, the Full Moon Art Fest begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m. The festival features local artists, authors, musicians, and a kids fun zone.

About the event
Author Sonia Simmons Robinson commissioned the talented Meredith Palmer of Palmer Designs to curate the cover art for her book, Pause: Sometimes Stillness is the Strategy. The artwork features historic Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, located in Hollytree, Alabama, and the beautiful Paint Rock Valley. While the book will not be available for purchase until October 2025, Sonia will have posters and notecards of the cover artwork available for sale at the Full Moon Art Festival.
