About the event
Most college students are trained to push through pressure: deadlines, expectations, comparison, perfectionism, leadership roles, internships, and uncertainty about the future. But what happens when your capacity shifts? When burnout hits? When confidence wavers? When life interrupts your plan?
Practical Resilience: Leading Yourself When Capacity Changes reframes resilience as a skill students can build now, not a trait they either have or don’t.
Drawing from executive leadership experience and lived disruption, Sonia Robinson offers a practical framework for navigating seasons of cognitive overload, identity shifts, academic pressure, and unexpected life changes without losing clarity or confidence.
This session invites students to rethink success, redefine strength, and develop tools that protect both their ambition and their well-being.
Attendees will leave with a personal resilience blueprint they can use in graduate school, early career transitions, leadership roles, and life beyond campus.
