The real test of leadership isn’t how you perform at full capacity. It's how you lead when your capacity changes.
High-performing professionals are often trained to push through disruption, but today’s leaders face challenges that cannot simply be powered through. In this interactive session, Sonia Robinson, APR, introduces the concept of practical resilience, a leadership competency that helps professionals maintain focus, credibility, and momentum when capacity changes due to health challenges, burnout, major transitions, or unexpected disruption.
Drawing from executive leadership experience and her work on intentional pauses, Sonia reframes resilience not as “bouncing back,” but as learning how to move forward differently. Participants will explore strategies to manage cognitive fatigue, protect professional equity, and build a resilience plan that supports sustainable performance and long-term leadership impact.
